5、e-pollutedsoilinSudan,separatelyincubatedwitheachpesticidewithperiodicsamplesdrawnforGCandGC-MS.Pesticidebiodegradationfollowedabiphasicmodel.αandβhalf-lives(days)ofchlorpyrifos,malathion,anddimethoateinB.safensisculturewere2.13,4.76;2.59,5.66;and9.5,11.0,r
6、espectively.ValuesinB.subtilisandB.cereuscultureswere4.09,9.45and4.33,9.99forchlorpyrifos;2.99,5.36and2.43,4.71formalathion;and9.53,15.11and4.16,9.27fordimethoate.NometabolitewasdetectedinB.subtiliscultures,whereasafewweredetectedfromB.safensisandB.cereuscu
