4、oimprovedandsurvivalratesbytheMedicalIllustrationDepartment,inhaveincreasedaccordinglywithasignificanttheBelfastHealthandSocialCareTrust,numberofwomenundergoingmastectomyNorthernIreland.Dedicated3Dbreastandimmediatebreastreconstructionasphotographyequipmentwasinstalledinpartoftheiroveralltreatment
5、forcancer.MedicalIllustrationfor18months.WomenConsequently,womenarelivinglongerwithwerereferredforavarietyofindicationsthesequelaeoftheircancertreatment,andincludingpre-andpost-surgicalassessment.thusadequateassessmentoftheoutcomesofAdedicated3Dbreastphotographyprotocolsurgeryisimportant.wasdevel
6、opedlocallyandthisrequiresOverrecentyears,therehavebeenrapidfurtherrefinementtoallowreproducibilitydevelopmentsinhardwareandsoftwareinothercentres.Thereareimage/datatosupporttheclinicalapplicationsofartefactsassociatedwiththistechnologyandthree-dimensional(3D)surfaceimagingspecialtechniquesarerequ
