2、lsforthematchingofaccuracyspecificationsarederivedwhichtogetherwiththere-MOSandbipolardevicesfromopenliteratureshowthatmatchingquiredbandwidthandlowpowerconsumptionareimportantimproveswithincreasingdevicearea.Asaresult,accuracyre-requirementsduringthedesign.InSectionIVwedemonstratequire

3、mentsimposeaminimaldeviceareaandthispaperexplorestheimpactofthisconstraintontheperformanceofgeneralanalogthat,sincetheaccuracyspecificationsimposeaminimaldevicecircuits.Itresultsinafixedbandwidth-accuracy-powertradeoffarea,theyfixthetradeoffbetweenpowerandbandwidthforwhichissetbytechnolog

4、yconstants.Thistradeoffisindependentbasicanalogbuildingblockssuchas,currentmirrors,invertingofbiaspointforbipolarcircuitswhereasforMOScircuitssomevoltageamplifiersandoperationaltransconductanceamplifiers.biaspointoptimizationsarepossible.Theperformancelimita-ForMOScircuitsthetradeoffcanb

5、eslightlyimprovedwiththetionsimposedbymatchingarecomparedtothelimitsimposedbythermalnoise.ForMOScircuitsthepowerconstraintsdueoptimizationofthebiaspointandtheoptimizationofvoltagetomatchingareseveralordersofmagnitudehigherthanforandcurrentsignalprocessingcircuitsisanalyzedindetail.How-
