2、formedbythedifferenceofchildrensInternetuseinformalandinformalcontexts,thisstudyaimstomoveawayfromstudyingchildrensmorepredictableInternetuseinschoolsettingstolearninghowchildrenusetheInternetathome,andwhatfactorsimpacttheironlinebehaviorinsuchcontexts.Studentsfromgrade3to6fromaschoolinamed
3、ium-sizedcityinChinaparticipatedinthestudy.ThedatarevealthatchildrenusetheInternetforbothentertainmentandlearningpurposesandthesetwofactorsarecorrelated.However,factorsinfluencingInternetuseforthetwopurposesaretosomeextentdifferent.ThestudysuggeststhatthereisaneedtozoominandanalyzechildrensI
