3、withLISREL7.Theresultsprovidedsupportfortheconvergentanddiscriminantvaliditiesofthesubscalesmeasuringthe5stylesofhandlinginterpersonalconflict(integrating,oblig-ing,dominating,avoiding,andcompromising)andgeneralsupportfortheinvarianceofthe5-factormodelacrossreferentroles(i.e.,superiors,sub

4、ordinates,andpeers),organi-zationallevels(top,middle,lower,andnonmanagement),and4ofthe5samples.Oneofthecentralissuesinorganizationalresearchofdatafromacollegiatesampleandfourorganizationalistheassessmentoftheconstructvalidityofmeasuressamples.(Bagozzi,Yi,&Phillips,1991).Researchershaveofte

5、nusedclassicalstatisticalmethods,suchasexploratoryTheoryofConflictStylesfactoranalysis(Harman,1967;Kerlinger,1986),andThetheoreticalworksonthestylesofhandlinginter-heuristics,suchasCampbellandFiske's(1959)personalconflicthavebeenpresentedbyseveralresearch-multitrait-multimethod(MTMM)matrix
