3、onhowtoestablishacomputationalmodelwhichcouldgeneratevisuallyplausiblegarmentanimationundertherestrictionofreal—timecomputing.Currently,clothanimationmodelscouldbedividedintotwocategoriesbasedonthepropertiesoffabric.Theyarephysical—basedmodelsandgeometric—basedmodels.Theformerhastheadvantageofvi
4、sionrealismandthelatterhastheadvantageofhighefficiency.Mixedmodels,whichcombinephysical—basedmodelsandgeometric-basedonestogether,areeffectivewaysforreal—timeclothanimation.Inthispaper,anewmixedmodelforgarmentanimationbasedonthesampledataispresented.Insampledata,collisionbetweenclothandbodyarein
5、vestigatedbyaprobabilityanalysismethodforpredictingcorrelationbetweenclothmotionandbodymotion.Sothatclothcouldbecompartmentalizedreasonablyundersuchcorrelationandmixedtwodifferenttypesofclothanimationmodels.Thenewmixedmodelcouldsupportreal—timeclothanimationandhasamechanismfordynamiccontrolofeff
6、iciency.Ithasthefollowingadvantages:Firstly,itcouldautomaticallymixtwodifferentmodels;Secondly,itcouldsupportreal—timeclothanimation;Thirdly,theefficiencycouldbecontrolleddynamically;Finally,thecompartmentalizationofclotharemoresubtlyandreasonable.Experimentsshowthatcomparedwiththemethodbasedons
