5、orksintheUK’whichwaspreparedjointlybytheBritishTunnellingSocietyandtheAssociationofBritishInsurersandpublishedbytheBritishTunnellingSocietyinSeptember2003.ThecodehasbeensubsequentlymodifiedafterdiscussionswiththeInternationalTunnellingAssociationandtheInternationalAssociationofEngineeringInsurer

6、s,notablytorecognisethatsomeoftheprovisionsintheoriginalJointCodewouldnotbeappropriateorlegalinallnations,regions,orcitieswhichwouldrequirespecificamendmentstothecode.Itisclearthatthecodeisintendedasatooltopromotebestpracticeinriskmanagementandreducetheoccurrenceofaccidents.Itisdifficultforonedo
