4、dustryapplications,mechanicsperformanceofaluminumfoam,especialit'senergy-absorbingperformancehasattractedmoreandmorepeople’Sattentions,becauseofgoodtoughnessofitsbasedmetal,purealuminumfoamisalsopaidmoreandmoreattentionsasatoughnessmetalfoammaterial.Int
5、hisstudy,themeltfoamingmethodwasstudiedtofabricatepurealuminumfoam.Rawmaterialwaspurealuminum,viscosity—increasingagentwasCa,foamingagentwasTill2.Duringexperimentinlab—scale,optimaltechnicsconditionandparameterincruciblefoamingprocesswasgiven:additionqu
6、antityofviscosity-increasingagentwas2~3%(mass),additionquantityoffoamingagentwas1.0-1.5%(mass),thetemperaturetoaddfoamingagentwas690~700℃.Processoftransferringfoaminginquadrateboxisbasedoncrucibleexperiment,Duringprocessoftransferringfoaming,foamingtemp
7、eratureandfoamingtimewasstudied.Whenfoamingtemperatureis640-680。Candfoamingtimeis4~5min,wecanobtainsatisfactoryproducts.Basedonlab—scaleexperiments,theexperimentinsemi—industrywasdone,theresultshowsthatthecommerciaIaluminumfoamslabssized2000mm×l000mm×Xm
