4、D)hascompelledmanyresearcherstousecomputerbasedsolutionsinsteadofexperimentalsetupin-ordertounderstandandvalidatetheirfindings.Heattransferandfluidflowareimportantareasofresearchduetoitswideapplicationsinthisworldofmoderntechnology.Theconceptofentropyproductionthroug
5、hheattransferandfluidflowismostlyfoundinmanyindustrialapplications.Therefore,itisnecessarytoexaminetheeffectsofentropyproductionthroughheattransferandfluidflowatdifferentworkingconditions.Inthisdissertationtheentropyproductionfortwo-dimensionalheattransfersystemhasbe
6、enanalyzedsystematicallywiththehelpofsuitablenumericalschemebasedonFinitevolumemethod(FVM).ThecomputationshavebeenperformedbyemployingComputationalfluiddynamics(CFD)codes.Wehaveinvestigatedtheaccuracyandstabilityofnumericalsimulationfortwo-dimensionalheattransfersyst
7、emandwehavealsoanalyzedthebehaviorofentropyproductionwitheffectofheatfluxfordifferentgeometries.Furthermore,theeffectsofentropyproductionrateonapipewereexamined.Theproblemswereinvestigatedbyusingentropyproductionformulaalongwithnumericaltechniques..Thesteadystateheat
8、conductionproblemhasbeeninvestigatedforentropyproductionbyconsideringeffectofheatflux.Theresultsshowthattheentropyproductionprofile
