2、rdasphaltwasmonitoredfromJune2006toJuly2007forhydrologicdifferencesinpavementsurfacerunoffvolumes,totaloutßowvolumes,peakßowrates,andtimetopeak.ThefourpermeablesectionswereperviousconcretePC,twotypesofpermeableinterlockingconcretepavementPICPwithsmall-sizedaggreg
3、ateinthejointsandhaving12.9%PICP1and8.5%PICP2opensurfacearea,andconcretegridpaversCGPÞlledwithsand.Thesitewaslocatedinpoorlydrainedsoils,andallpermeablesectionswereunderlainbyacrushedstonebaselayerwithaperforatedunderdrain.AllpermeablepavementssigniÞcantlyreduc
4、edsurfacerunoffvolumesandpeakßowratesfromthoseofasphaltp0.01.Ofthepermeablepavements,CGPgeneratedthegreatestsurfacerunoffvolumesp0.01.ThePICP1andCGPcellsgeneratedsigniÞcantlylowertotaloutßowvolumesthanallothersectionsevaluatedp0.01,andhadthelowestpeakßowsand
5、thelongesttimetopeak.TheresponseofthePICP1cellwaslikelyduetoanincreasedbasestoragevolumeresultingfromanelevatedpipeunderdrainwhereastheCGPcellresponsewasattributedtowaterretentioninthesandÞlllayer.Overall,differentpermeablepavementsectionsperformedsimilarly,butweresu
