3、tionshavebeenembodiedintoSCI.Ingeography，however,mostoftheassociationpublicationsareclassifiedoutofSCI.Then,everygeographerhastofaceaquestion,thathowtochooseascientificvaluationtothegeographictreatises?Geographyisdifferentfrommathematics,physics,biologyandmostofothernaturalscience,be
4、causemuchofthegeographicstudieshavetobebasedonthelo-calknowledge,localculture,localcontext,andlocalgeographicphenomenainparticularplacesandtimes.Usuallyitisdifficulttohaveadiscussionsmoothlyaboutaresultofgeographicresearchbetweentwogeographerswhichhavedifferentgeographicknowledge.The
5、factmeans,theresultsofgeographicresearchesareusuallyevaluatedbetterbytheprofessorialgeographicgroupwhohavesimilargeographicknowledgethanbythegroupwhohavedifferentgeographicknowledgeorcontexts.Inordertoavoidtheincorrectvaluationtothegeographicaltreatises,thispaperattemptstointroduceth
6、emaingeographicalpublicationsincludingthepublicationsofthegeographicalsocieties,thepublicationsoftheassociationsofgeographers,andtheotheracademicgeographicaljournalsinwesterncountriessuchasAmerica,theUnitedKingdom,France,Germany,andJapan.Inconclusion,thepapersuggestswhatkindofscienti
