4、itiesishigh,soitisdifficulttobemachined,speciallytaperorspherecavities.Inordertoobtainhighsymmetry,generalmethodsmustemployspecialfixturewithhighprecisionindexhead.Themethodsshowhighmachiningcostsandcomplicatedoperationforsmallserialproduction.Onthebasisofthiscondition,thecondition,thesynch

5、ronousrotaryelectricaldischargemachining(SREMD)withNCsystemispresented.Thismethodcaneasilymachinetheprecisionaerostaticbearingcavitieswithlowmachiningcosts.2.TheprincipleandadvantagesofSREDMTheprincipleofSREDMisshowninFig.2.Fig.2theprincipleofSREDMDuringmachining,theworkpieceisanegativepole
