3、tancecircuitsmodelandextractionofparametersinthistransmissionlinestructure.Theyalsoincludetwotypesofseries-fedmetamaterialantennaarray,aplanarmetamaterialantennaarray,basingontheresearchofpredecessors.Toapplymetamaterialconceptstomicrostripantennaarra
4、ys,wesummarizedtheoryandexamplesoftraditionalmicrostripantennaarrays.Weanalyzedanddesignedtheretypesofmetamaterialantennaarrays.Basedonthesummarization,wedesignednovelmetamaterialarrays,includingtwotypesofseries-fedmetamaterialantennaarraysandametamat
5、erialplanararray.Comparingtotraditionalmicrostripantennaarrays,metamaterialantennaarrayshavesignificantlybroadenedthebandwidthandimprovedtheradiationpattern.Metamaterialantennaarraysalsoderivesomeoftheadvantagesofitselements,likehighefficiencyandlowlo
6、ss.Theradiationdirectionoftheseantennasandarraysareonthefront,whichisthesamedirectionofmicrowavepropagatinginthefeedingline.Theantennasandarraysallhavelinearpolarization.Thesearrayshavebeendesigned,simulated,fabricatedandmeasured.Thesimulatedresultsan
