2、yofthepatentphaseatfirst,andtheshapeofthemartensiteislamellar.Thesesteelhavelargetemperbrittleness.TheplatemartensiteattheboundaryofthepatentphaseislessevidentinthesteelsincludingMo.Inouropinion,theplatemartensiteattheboundaryofthepatentphaseisthemainreasonthatleadtotheoccurr
3、enceoftemperingbrittleness.WealsoresearchesthetemperingbrittlenessofCrWMn,65Mnand50CrMnafterdifferentheattreatmentbyimpactexperiment.Theresultisthatthetemperingbrittlenessissmalleraftertemperingwhenthelowerbainiteinsteadoftheplatemartensiteatthegrain-boundaryofthepatentinthep
4、rocessofquenching.Observationofmorphologyoftheplatemartensitewereperformed.Analysisoftheplatemartensiteatthegrain-boundaryeffectonthemicrostructureinthetemperingprocess.Themartensiteatthegrain-boundarypromotesthediffusionofcarbonandPsegregationinthetemperingprocess.Itpromotes
5、temperingbrittlenessofsteels.Martensitesubstructureatthepatentphasegrain-boundaryhavetwincrystalanddislocation.Itisfoundthattheparentphaseiitransformsaroundthedefectsformingasessilemetastablemartensiticembryo,andthedislocationlooporgroupofloopsprovidedislocationsourceformarte
