3、mKeanwasappointedClubSecretaryheagreedasaninterimmeasure,tocontinuewithhisroleasMatchandHandicapSecretary,andwearegratefulforhishardworkandlonghoursspentincarryingoutbothrolesthisyear.Jim,theDirectors,andmyselfagreethatin2013JimshouldtakeastepbackfromM

4、atchandHandicaptoenablehimtofurtherdevelophisdutiesasClubSecretary,andmovetheclubforwardinthesechallengingtimes.JimhasestablishedrobustproceeduresandagreatteamwhoindividuallylookafterspecificaspectsofM&H,butwewillneedsomeonetooverseeMatchandHandicapgen

5、erallywhenhestepsbackfromtherole.BothJimandIareavailabletoprovidesupportandguidance,andweenvisageournewMatchandHandicapSecretarywillbeabletolearnaspectsoftheroleduringtherestof2012whichwillenablethemtofullytakeoverthereignsin2013.AlthoughthepositionofM

6、atchandHandicapSecretaryhastraditionallybeenaDirector'srole,itdoesnotnecessarilyhavetobe.Iwouldbegratefulifanyoneinterestedwouldcomeforward,andwecandiscusstherolefurtherThankYouIanBarkerClubCaptainRyderCupThereareonlyafewqualifyingeventsleftanditisvery
