2、emethodofestablishingshipmotionsimulationmodelandrepeatedlyoptimizingthemaneuverabilitysimulation,butthereisaproblemofthismethodistheoptimizationtimeistoolongandthecomputationaleffortislarge.Thoughthetraditionalresponsesurfaceoptimizationmethodandglobaloptimizationmethodcanreducethesimulat
3、ionstepsandsavethesimulationtime,theoptimizationresultisalwaysinaccurateandunstablebecauseoftheuncertaintyofsamplingandtheresultisnotglobalconvergence.Thispaperproposestheoptimizationmethodfortheparametersofshiprudderbycompressedsensing,basedon13000DWTbulkcarrier.WebuildtheMMGmodelofshipro
4、lling,establishthefourdegreesoffreedommotionequationsofshipandanalyzetheloadstressofunloadhull,propellerandrudderandgivethesolvingmethodofeachhydrodynamicparameters.Wegettherudderoptimizationparameterwhichcanimproveshipmaneuverabilitybyanalyzingtheinfluenceofareaandaspectratioofrudderonthe
5、fixedrotarydiameterandrollinganglewhenshipisundertheconditionofrotation.Therudderparametersaresimulatedandoptimizedbythemethodofcompressedsensing.ThismethodlettheLegendreorthogonalpolynomialbasisastheoptimizationofresponsesurface.GetnonadaptivesamplingpointsetthroughtheLatinhypercubeanduni
6、tdivision,1-normandmeaningreconstructiontoobtainaccurateresponsesurface.Finally,theoptimalrudderdesignparameterstogetthroughtheglobaloptimizationmethodwhichbasedonresponsesurfacedividingrectangle.Comparedtheoptimizationtimeandresultwiththatoftraditionaloptimizationmethod,themethodofcompres
