4、hetime.Instead,WaltjoinedtheRedCrossandwassentoverseastoFrance,wherehespentayeardrivinganambulanceandchauffeuringRedCrossofficials.Hisambulancewascoveredfromstemtostern,notwithstockcamouflage,butwithDisneycartoons.OnceWaltreturnedfromFrance,hebegantop
5、ursueacareerincommercialart.HestartedasmallcompanycalledLaugh-O-Grams,whicheventuallyfellbankrupt.Withhissuitcase,andtwentydollars,WaltheadedtoHollywoodtostartanew.Aftermakingasuccessofhis“AliceComedies,”WaltbecamearecognizedHollywoodfigure.OnJuly13,1
6、925,Waltmarriedoneofhisfirstemployees,LillianBounds,inLewiston,Idaho.Laterontheywouldbeblessedwithtwodaughters,DianeandSharon.In1932,theproductionentitledFlowersandTrees（thefirstcolorcartoon）wonWaltthefirstofhisstudio’sAcademyAwards.In1937,hereleasedT
7、heOldMill,thefirstshortsubjecttoutilizethemulti-planecameratechnique.OnDecember21,1937,SnowWhiteandtheSevenDwarfs,thefirstfull-lengthanimatedmusicalfeature,premieredattheCarthayTheaterinLosAngeles.Thefilmproducedattheunheardcostof$1,499,000duringthede
