applianceindustrypromotesthedevelopmentofeconomyandtheimprovementof
livingstandardinourcountry.Thehouseholdapplianceindustrywithasetofperfect
operationandmanagementsystemisdevelopedfromtheintroductionofforeig

technologyinthe1970s.Abatchofhouseholdapplianceenterprisegroupswith
competitivenesshasformedintheindustry,itsproductsamountfor80%domestic
marketshareandcreatesmoreandmoreforeigncurrencyandprofits.However,a
seriesofproblemsinthedomestichouseholdapplianceindustryareexposedwiththe
integrat
3、ionofChineseeconomywiththeworldeconomy,suchas,poorinR&D
capacity,lightbrandconsciousness,lackofcorecompetence.Thus,itisurgentto
promoteindustrialrestructuringandupgrading.Therefore,itisofgreatpractical
significancetoanalyzeandevaluatetheproductivityofhouseholdapplianceindustry
andenterpri
4、sessystematically.MalmquistIndexisapopulartooltomeasuretheTotalFactorProductivity
dynamically.However,withthedefectsofsubjectiveandinaccurateofthetraditional
DEAMalmquistindexmodel,theevaluationresultisnotquitesatisfactory.Therefore,
thestudyreviewstheDataEnvelopmentAnalysisefficiencyeval
5、uationmodelfirst,
andthenpresentsanewmodelofCross-EfficiencyMalmquistIndexbasedonthe
combinationofCross-EfficiencyDEAmodelandtraditionalMalmquistIndexmodel,
atlastprovesthescientificityandthefeasibilityofthenewmodel.Thepaperusesthe
modeltoanalyzetheTFPofthelistedhouseholdapplianceenterpri
6、sesfrom2005to2009.Theresultshowsthattheproductivityofthehouseholdapplianceindustrywere
improvedsteadily,butsufferedsomenegativeeffectsfromtheGreatRecessionof2008.Besides,thesmallertheenterprisesis,themorethepositiveeffectwasmadeby
thetechnologicalprogress,whiletheimprovementofproductivity

enterprisesissimultaneouslycomingfromthetechnicalefficiencyandtechnological
progress.Intheeraofpost-financialcrisis,thewhitehouseholdapplianceenterprises
productivityreboundedstronglycomparedwiththegrowthmomentumofblack
householdapplianceenterprises
