5、thesurfaceirregularitiesofbothpartstendtointerlockandformawedgingaction.Toproducemotionintheseparts,thewedge-shapedpeaksandvalleysofthestationarysurfacesmustbemadetoslideoutandovereachother.Therougherthetwosurfaces,thegreaterisstartingfrictionresultingfromtheirmovement.Sin
