3、readofriceandmillet,inparticular,aretakenupbothinthearchaeologicalandlinguisticchapters.HypothesesdiscussedinthelinguisticsectionincludethevalidityoftheAustrichypothesis,thenatureofthelinksbetweentheDaiclanguagesandAustronesian,andtheoverallrelationsbetweenthela
