4、ervices.Theincreasingneedtoreducethecostsofintegratingdisparateenvironmentsledtotheubiquitousrequirementforastandarddatasharingplatform,independentoftiestovendorsandprovidedastandarddatatransportwhichempoweredWebexistingtechnologies.XMLserviceswiththeabilitytoeffectivelyabstract

5、proprietaryplatformsinsupportofutilizingthistransportstandardtocommunicateoverpreviouslynon-standardboundaries.andreally,it'snotofmuchconsequenceanymore.XMLPerhapsbothclaimsaretrue,andWebserviceshavebecomekeyenablingtechnologieswithintheworldofEAI,andEAIproductsarebeingbuiltfrom

6、thegroundupinsupportoftheXMLandWebservicestechnologyplatforms.1.ServicemodelsforenterpriseintegrationarchitecturesTheprocess-orientednatureofEAIsolutionshasdriventherequirementforservicemodelsthatcanexecuteandmanagevariousaspectsofenterprisebusiness.EAImiddlewareistypicallyinvol
