5、itissubjecttohavingenergyinputtedintoit.Thiswasdiscoveredbecauseitwasfoundthatorbitsbecomequantizedandallowelectronstojumpfromorbittoorbit.Whentheorbittheyjumptohasmoreenergythantheoriginal,theelectronabsorbsaphotonwithaspecificfrequency,butwhenitjumpstoanorbitwithlessenergy,theelectrongivesoff
6、aphotonwithaspecificfrequency(Anonymous,atomicspectrum,2005).Aphotonisdescribedtobeaquantaoflightorinsimplerterms,aparticle.Itisapacketofenergythatmovesintheformofawavewhichmakeslightuniquetowardsotherwaves(Anonymous,PhotonsAsLightQuanta).Thespecificfrequenciesthatthesephotonsaregivingoffdiffer
