3、ortfoliosisinadequateanddoesnotsufficientlyallowforthecomplexityandindividualityofeachportfolio.Theproblemsinassessingportfoliosinclude:·Consistency&reliability·Interratermoderation·Subjectivityvs.objectivity·Theuseofevidence·Theuseofreflectivewritingandcommentaries·Theuseofmarkingcrite

4、ria·AgreementonwhatisbeingassessedThedefinitionsofcompetenceandthereforehowthiscanbeassesseddiffergreatlyamongstindividuals.Publishedmarkingcriteriaareofteninadequatetoencompassthecomplexitiesofdemonstratingpracticeoutcomesortheapplicationoftheorytopracticewithinaspecificcontext.Thekeys

5、tagescommontomostpracticeanddemonstrationofcompetenceinappliedpsychologyare:Assessing–planning–implementing–evaluatingThiscycleisdemonstratingwithinthecompetenciesofeachoftheCoreRolesoftheQualification.Itisthiscycleorprocessaswellastheindividualelementswithinitwhichisofinterest.TheDesig
