2、edcontroltechnologyfortheMineHoistsystem,thispaperintroducesanewmethodtocontrolthespeedofACinductionmotorbycombiningthefuzzycontrollerusingtheProgrammableLogicController(PLC)andthegeneralfrequencyinverter.Theproposedmethodmakesthesystemmorereliable,stableaswellasintelligent,andisexpectedtohaveapromi
3、singfuture.ThesimulationiscarriedoutundertheSIMULINKenvironmentinordertooptimizethesystemperformance.Keywords—PLC;MineHoist;FuzzyControl;SimulinkI.INTRODUCTIONNowadays,astothetimevariantofthespeedcontrolofminehoistinminingindustry,itisbecomingmorecommontocontrolthevelocityofminehoistbyjointlyusingPL
4、Candfrequencyinverter.However,itisdifficulttobuildthemathematicalmodelforthespeedcontrollerandimplementtheautomaticcontrolbecauseofitsnonlinearcharacteristic.Thefuzzycontroltheory,whichisanintelligentcontroltheory,solvestheproblemproperly.Fuzzycontrolisbasedonthepracticalexperienceofoperatingthecont
5、rolobject.Theinternalstructureandmathematicalmodelofthecontrolobjectisnotnecessaryforthefuzzycontrol,whichisverybeneficialtotheautomaticcontrolofvariablefrequencyspeed-regulatingofminehoist.Asanotherimportantelementinthecontrolsystem,PLChasstrongfunctioncommandsandcooperatesvariousfunctionalmodules,
