3、cs.TheaimofthisstudywasevaluationofinteriordesignofShokavehiclewithrespecttotheaccommodationforIranianpopulationandproposingsuggestionsforcustomizingdesignofthevehicle.Method:Thisstudywasadescriptive-analyticalstudyconductedamongthirtymenfromIraniandriverspopulationin5,50,95percentiles
4、ofthestaturevariable.Objectivevariablesrelatedtotheoccupantpackagingandvehiclevisualaspectsincludinganthropometricvariables,frontal,lateral,andsideviewandsoonwereinvestigatedfirst.Then,subjectivevariablesrelatedtothedrivermentalworkloadandbodycomfortdiscomfortwerestudiedusingBMDMWandco
5、mfortquestionnairesduring2-hourdrivingtrialsessions.Results:Occupantpackagingvariablesandhand-armangleshowedtheleastaccommodationpercent(%53).Seatinganglesshowedlowaccommodationaswell(%73).AmongthreepercentilegroupstherewerenosignificantdifferencesbetweenthemeanvaluesofmentalWorkloaddu
6、ringtwohoursdrivingtask.Themeanvaluerelatedtothecomfortdiscomfortwas3.9duringdrivingsessions.Conclusion:Consideringthefindingsinthisstudy,itcanbeconcludedthatseatinganglesneedcorrectionandoptimization.Takingmentalworkloadresultsintoaccount,itcanbeconcludedthattheinteriordesignofthestud
7、iedcarhadnoinfluenceondrivers’mentalworkload.Fromtheaspectofcomfort/discomfort,Shokavehicleshowedneutralstateamongdrivers.Optimizingseatingangles,decreasingvibration,correctingstiffnessofseatingpanaresuggestedforcustomizationoftheergonomicsaspectofthisvehicle.Keywords:Ergonomicevalua
