2、tsstrategicobjectives.Operationalplansgenerallyhaveafocusoflessthanoneyearandarequitedetailedintermsofwhatneedstobeimplementedandhow.Thefocusforxxxcompanyisonthemanagementofoperationalplansandthiswillbeconsideredinthreestepsthatarethedevelopmentofoperation

3、alplans,theimplementationoftheplaninrelationtoresourceacquisitionandthemonitoringandreviewofperformanceagainstthetargetsintheplan.2.DevelopingOperationalPlanThefirststepinmanagingoperationalplansistoplantheprocess.Appropriateresearchandanalysisneedstobeund

4、ertakentogainanunderstandingoftheorganisationalareaforwhichXXXcompanyareresponsible.Itisimportanttoconsultwithcolleagues,relevantpersonnelandsubjectmatterspecialistsfromwithinandoutsidetheorganisationwhendevelopinganyplans.Indevelopingtheoperationalplan,fu

5、rtherconsultationandcommunicationwithstakeholdersisrequired.Keyperformanceindicators(KPIs)shouldbedeterminedandincludedintheoperationalplaninordertoassesstheorganisation’sperformanceagainsttheplannedoutcomes.Itisimportantthatcontingencyplansaredevelopedasp

6、artoftheoperationalplanbecauseexternalinfluenceshavethepotentialtoimpactonanorganisationorpartsofit.Operationalplansshouldbepresentedasprofessionalreportsandsupportedwithappropriateinformation.Operationalplansshouldbedrafted,approvedandsignedoffbeforebeing

7、communicatedtoallstakeholdersandrelevantparties.AnOperationalPlanshouldbedevelopedwiththeinvolvementofappropriatestaffandpartners.Althoughprojectteammemberswilltaketheleadinmanyareas,theywillrequirestrongsupport,ofteninvolvingstafffromdifferentpartsoftheor
