2、utorial.·BrushesBeforeYouBeginThispiecehasbeencompletelydonewiththehelpofagraphictablet,tobepreciseaWacomBambooFun.SinceIknowthatsomeofyoudon’thaveone,I’lltrytoexplainduringthewholetutorial,whenit’sneeded,howtoachievethesameresultsusingamouse(andalotofpatience).BrushesUsedThesearethebrushesusedinth
3、istutorial.Thefirsttwoarestandardbrushes.Theotherscanbedownloadedabove.Step1–TheSketchThissketchwasmadedirectlyinPhotoshopusingatabletandasmallroundbrush.Ifyoudon’townatabletandwantasketchlikethis,justdoitonpaper.YoucanalwaysuseascannerandthenimportitonPhotoshop.Youdon’thavetobethebestartistinthewo
4、rldtodothis.It’samountain;it’smadeofrock.Rocksarenotperfectlyshaped!ImadethispiecebythinkingabouthowIcouldmakeamountainthatcouldworkasthefocusofthepiece.Idrewalotofsharpcliffs,Itriedtomaketheminterestingtotheeye.Ialsomadealotofsmall"paths"startingfromthetopofthepieceandleadingtothebottom,atthetipof
5、themountain.Thiswasmadeinordertogivetotheviewer’sbrainsomethingtofollow.Ifyou’reoccidental,youreadfromlefttoright;ifyou’reoriental,fromrighttoleft;buteveryonereadsstartingfromthetop.Thisisthekey:oureyeswillstartlookingatourpiece,evenifit’sonlyforatenthofasecond,fromthetop.Whenthey(oureyes)dothis,th
