5、imatechange.Thepresentstudywasconductedtorevealhowriceseedvigorwillbeaffectedbythesetwoimportantenvironmentalfactorswhenriceplantsweregrownunderfutureenvironmentconditions.ByusingthericeFreeAirCO2Enrichment(FACE)system,aninbredjaponicariceWuyunjing23wasgrownunderfourdifferentcombinationsof
6、CO2concentrationandtemperaturetreatments,i.e.ambientair(Ambient),elevated[CO2](EC,Ambient+200μmol/mol,elevatedtemperature(ET,Ambient+2℃)andelevated[CO2]+elevatedtemperature(EC+ET).Atmaturity,seedswereharvestedandsubjectedtothestandardgerminationtrialinlaboratory.Theresultsindicatedthatcomp
7、aredwithseedsobtainedfromambientair,theseedsfromECplantsshowedhighervalue(+16?5%)intheelectricalconductivityofdeionizedwaterinwhichseedshavebeensoakedfor24hours.However,ECdecreasedthesproutingrate,germinationrate,germinationpotentialandgerminationindexby7.8%,1
