2、ymentpressure.Accordingtothedirectmarketingindustrydevelopmentofrelativelystandardizednationalandregionalstatisticsshowthatdirectsellingindustrypractitionersgenerallyaccountforabout5%ofthetotalpopulationofthecountryandregion.Forexample,inrecentyears,theproportionofdirectsalesp
3、ractitionersinTaiwanregionhasbeenbetween5%and8%.Andaccordingtotheaverageof5%topredictthatifthemainlandChinadirectsellingindustrycanbehealthyandstandardizeddevelopment,practitionerswillreach65million,whichisaveryimpressivefigure!Accordingtoincompletestatistics,by2004,10approved
4、transitionalenterprises,aswellasthespontaneoustransformationofenterprises,thetotalnumberofhiredsalesmenhasexceeded10million.Therefore,ifthedirectsellingindustrycanachievehealthyandlong-termdevelopmentinthemainlandofChina,itwillprovidealargenumberofjobopportunitiesforthesociety
5、andreducetheenormousemploymentpressureforthesociety.Andbecausethetrainingcostsforjobsarepaidbydirectsellingcompanies,noburdenwillbeimposedonthecountry.Onlyinthisway,intheprocessofdeepeningeconomicreforminChinaandalargenumberofsurpluslaborneedstobetransferred,theexistenceofthed
6、irectsellingindustryhasaveryimportantpracticalsignificance.Secondly,topromotethecirculationofcommoditiesandenliventhemarketeconomy."Directselling"isoneofmanymoderndistributionmodes,whichcaneffectivelyreducetheoperatingcostofenterprisesandplayapositiveroleinpromotingthecirculat
7、ionofcommoditiesunderthemarketeconomy".Thisisthefirsttimethatthemainlandauthoritieshavepositivelyaffirmedtheroleandvalueofdirectsellingineconomicdevelopment.Infact,iffromthebroadsenseofdirectmarketing,directmarketingandcommodityeconomyisalmosttwins,thereisacommodityeconomy,the
