2、ingSovietexpansionarethekeytoreconciliationbetweenChinaandtheUnitedstates.WhentheNixonAdministrationformulatedthestrategyof"LianhuaagainsttheSovietUnion",China'stopleaderswerealsoadjustingtheirdiplomaticstrategy.Atthebeginningofthe70s,China'sdiplomacywasconfronte
3、dwithasevereinternationalsituation.Chinain60stheimplementationofthe"twolinesofdiplomaticstrategyofantiimperialist,antirevisionism",atthesametimewiththetwosuperpowersfortheenemy,theChinesebearfromtheEastandWestdualstrategyofpressure,inaverydifficultsituationinthei
4、nternationalcommunity.Especiallysincetheendofthe60s,SinoSovietrelationshavedeterioratedfurther,andChina'snationalsecurityisconfrontedwiththemilitarythreatoftheSovietunion.Atthesametime,althoughattheendof60stoChinesethreattotheUnitedStatesstillexists,buttheChinese
5、threattotheUnitedStatesthantheSovietUnionsoldiersarrivesasurgentthreats.AfterNixonbecamepresident,throughvariouschannelstoChinaexpressedadesireforreconciliation,whichprovidedtheconditionsfortheimplementationoftheU.S.antiSovietstrategyChinese.Onthebasisofthecommon
6、interestsoftheSovietUnion,ChinaandtheUnitedStatesmovedtowardsreconciliationatthebeginningofthe70s.AfterNixon'svisittoChina,MaoZedongmadecleartheestablishmentofa"line"strategy,includingtheUnitedStates,againsttheSoviethegemony.InFebruary1973,MaoZedongmetwithKissing
7、erintheclearstatementofthisstrategicidea,Chinese,UnitedStates,Japan,Pakistan,Iran,Turkey,ChinaandEuropeapproximatelyatthesamelatitudecountriesunitetogetheragainstSoviethegemonism.OnFebruary21,1972,PresidentNixonvisitedchina.ThisisthefirstAmericanheadofstatetovisi
