2、RACTAtiny-oilignitionburnerhasbeenproposedtoreduceoilconsumptionduringthefiring-upprocessandpartial-loadoperations.Toinvestigatetheinfluenceofdifferentfeedratesonbituminouscoalignitioninthetiny-oilignitionburner,full-scalereacting-flowexperimentswere

3、performedonanexperimentalsetup.Theignitionburnerwasidenticaltothatnormallyusedinan800-MWeutilityboiler.Gastemperaturedistributionsintheburnerwereobtainedatcoal-feedratesof2,3,4,and5tonnes/h.CharburnoutandreleaseofCandHwereobservedattheexitoftheburner

4、nozzle.GascompositionssuchasO2andCOweremeasuredinthecenteroftheburner.Achangeinresistancewasobtainedwithintheburner.Asavingof90%overpreviousoilconsumptionwasgainedinthefiring-upprocessbyusingthenewoil-guntechnology.Keywords:Tiny-oilignitionburner;Coa
