2、rsityofArtsandScienceBy：Supervisor:May2011摘要19世纪末在欧洲出现的唯美主义思潮是最直接提倡“为艺术而艺术”的文艺思潮。奥斯卡·王尔德是唯美主义的最积极鼓吹者,也是唯美主义文学的身体力行者。奥斯卡·王尔德的长篇小说《道连·格雷的画像》从故事情节、人物塑造和叙事手法等方面,反映出王尔德唯美主义文艺观的丰富内涵。王尔德并不是一个彻底的唯美主义者,一方面他希望建立美的乌托邦,使美独立于功利和道德说教,希望人们通过对至高无上的美的膜拜得到救赎。另一方面他的大部分作品中自始
