2exploration,developmentandproductionofcrudeoilandnaturalgasresourcesfromKuwaifsoilfieldsandexportthroughmarineterminals.1.1TheCompanyrequirestheservicesofspecializedContractor(s)capableofprovidingCoiledTubingandAssociatedServicesforrigandrig-lessjobsinwellsinextremeclimaticconditions,andhavethecapability,personnel,material,equipmentandtechnologytoprovidesuchServices.1.2Accordingly,theCompanyisseekingtopre-qualifycompanies(Applicants)withprovencapabilitiesandexperienceintheabovestatedServiceandnowinvitesinterestedApplicantstosubmitfulldetailsoftheirexperienceinaccordancewiththeattachedquestionnaireandthePre-qualificationdocuments.1.3Theresultofthispre-qualificationexercisewillbethedevelopmentoflistsofcompaniestowhomInvitationstoTenderfortheServicesmaybeissued.1.4PleasenotethatthisisnotanInvitationtoTenderandquotationsarenotrequiredatthisstage.2.PurposeoftheDocuments2.1AllApplicantswillberequiredtosubmitadetailedandcomprehensivepre-qualificationsubmission("theSubmission"),forreviewbytheCompany.TheSubmissionshallbepreparedinaccordancewiththeguidelinesandinstructionssetoutinthispre qualificationdocumentandshallsetforthinaclearandprecisemannertheircompetenceandsuitabilityforcarryingouttheServices.2.2Pre-qualificationofApplicantsforfutureparticipationintheCompany9sTenderforsimilarServicesshallbemadesolelyonthebasisoftheinformationsuppliedintheApplicant'sSubmissions.AllApplicantsareadvisedthattheCompany,atitsownoption,maychoosetovisittheApplicant'sfacilities.TheApplicantsshallallow/givesuchaccesstotheCompanytosatisfyitselffullyabouttheApplicant9sSubmission,oranypartthereof.Anadvancenoticewouldbegiventotheapplicantsregardingthisvisit.INVITATIONTOPREQUALIFY3.GuidelinesforPre-Qualification3.1TheCompanyisundernoobligationtogivereasonsforacceptanceorrejectionofanyApplicant.Applicantsshalldemonstratetheircompetenceintheattachedquestionnaire.3.2TheApplicantmusthavecurrentresources(equipment,manpowerandfinancial),andthatadditionalworkofthemagnitudebeingconsideredbytheCompanywouldnotstretchtheApplicant'scapabilities.3.3TheApplicantisadequatelystaffedwithskilledandexperiencedpersonnelandhasotherresourcessufficienttomeettheoperationalrequirement.KeyoperationalpersonnelmainlytheOperationManagers/SupervisorsandEngineers/Operatorsshouldhaveadequaterelevantexperience.
