5、····24参考文献·······················································24绪论23一天,维尔姆在铝中添加少量的铜和镁。他像往常一样用锤子敲打新材料。“当”的一声,锤子反弹起来,可新材料上没有一点凹陷的痕迹。“会不会是我累得没力气了呢?”维尔姆再一次举起锤子,用尽吃奶的力气往新材料上敲,在听到巨大响声的同时,他觉到整个手臂被震得发麻。维尔姆精神为之一振,顾不得手臂疼痛,连忙拾起新材料。它,依然完好无损。坚硬的铝终于诞生了!维尔姆对新材料——铝合金的
6、强度做了估测,证实它的强度比铝高3-5倍。可是,用它制造武器还是不行。“可不可以再提高它的强度呢?”维尔姆立即想到了淬火,因为淬火可以提高钢铁的硬度。维尔姆将铝合金放在炭火中烧。熊熊的火焰将铝合金烧得通红。他将铝合金夹出,很快地浸入水中。顿时,在“咝咝咝”的响声中,烟雾弥漫。维尔姆对淬火后的铝合金的强度进行估测,果然强度又提高了许多。为了以后实验的开展,维尔姆暂时放下手头的淬火工作,又进行含铜和镁的铝合金的炼制工作。待炼得一定数量铝合金后,为慎重起见,维尔姆对原先淬火过的铝合金的强度又进行估测。他惊奇地发
