2、shearcapacityoftheboltgroups.Theshearcapacityoftheboltgroup=n.PswherenisthenumberofboltsandPsistheshearcapacityperbolt(=91.9kNforM20,grade8.8boltfromTableH.49).Thereasonforthischangeisthat,asstatedinTableH.24,thetabulatedtyingcapacitiesforfinplateconnectionswerebasedontheminimumvaluesfromChe
3、cks11(i),11(ii),12(i)and12(ii).Noneofthesechecksrelatetotheshearcapacityoftheboltgroup.Wherethereisasinglelineofbolts,theshearcapacityoftheboltgroupmaybelessthanthetabulatedtyingcapacity.Also,whencarryingoutthefulldesignprocedure(inaccordancewithSection6.5)anadditionalcheckfor"structuralinte
