3、hmodeling.Thisarticlepresentsabasiclatentgrowthmodelingapproachforanalyzingrepeatedmeasuresdataanddelineatesseveralofitsextensions,includinganalysesformul-tiplepopulations,accelerateddesigns,multivariateassociativemodels,andaframe-workforsamplesizeselectionandpowerestimation.Therepresentationan
4、dmeasurementofchangeisafundamentalconcerntopracticallyallscientificdisciplines.Unfortunately,thestudyofchangeisnotasstraightforwardasmanyresearcherswouldlike.Theresearcherinter-estedindemonstratingchangeinbehaviorovertimemustusealongitudinalresearchdesign.Suchadesign,whethertrue,quasi-,ornonexp
5、erimental,posesseveraluniqueproblemsbecauseitinvolvesvariableswithcorrelatedobservations.Thereisnosinglestatisticalprocedurefortheanalysisoflongi-tudinaldata,asdifferentresearchquestionsdictatedifferentdatastructuresand,thus,differentstatisticalmodelsandmethods.Historically,themostprevalenttype
