5、heriseofecologicalconsciousness.Thenewworlddisorder,thedemiseofCom-munismandofMarxist-Leninistideology,arealsofundamentaltrendsofanewhistoricalepoch.Indeed,IwillarguethatthecollapseoftheSovietEmpireispartlytheconsequenceofitsinabilitytomanagethetransitiontotheinformationalsociety.Anumberofsoc
