5、anuscripts.Hewas,byturns,Fellow,Dean,andTutor,andin1905wasinstalledasProvost.Hisoutputoflearnedbookswasprodigious,andtheghoststoriesforwhichheisnowchieflyknownformedonlyatinypartofhisbusylife.Itwashishabit,atChristmasEve,toreadonealoudtofriends.Onesuspectsthatheput
