3、ofrefrigerantsduringevaporationinahorizontaltube.Aone-dimensionalannularflowmodeloftheevaporationofrefrigerantsunderconstantheatfluxisdeveloped.Thebasicphysicalequationsgoverningflowareestablishedfromtheconservationofmass,energyandmomentum.Themodelisvalidat
4、edbycomparingitwiththeexperimentaldatareportedinliterature.Thepresentmodelcanbeusedtopredictthevariationofthetemperature,heattransfercoefficientandpressuredropofvariouspurerefrigerantsflowingalongahorizontaltube.Itisfoundthattherefrigeranttemperaturedecreas
5、esalongthetubecorrespondingtothedecreasingofitssaturationpressure.Theliquidheattransfercoefficientincreaseswiththeaxiallengthduetothereducingthicknessoftheliquidfilm.Theevaporationrateofliquidrefrigeranttendstodecreasewithincreasingaxiallength,duetothedecre
