3、R)andSimpleSequenceRepeat(SSR)markers.Visibleassessmentoftheseinvitroraisedplantsmain-tainedinpolyhousedidnotshowanymorphologicaldifferencesamongthemselves.However,totestthegenetichomogeneityoftheseplants,wescreened50ISSRprimersoutofwhich,22primersproducedscorableandrepeatablebands.These22pr
4、imerswereusedfurtherforassessingge-netichomogeneityofinvitroraisedplantsofCrimsonSeedless.These22ISSRprimersgenerated134distinctbandclasseswithatotalof3216scorablebands.Alltheprimersshoweduniformbandingpatternforalltheinvitroraisedplantsandthemotherplant.Incaseof5SSRprimers(VS1,VVMD5,VVS2,VM
5、CNG4c8andVVMD31)used,atotalof288scorablebandswereobtained.Theallelesizesrangedfrom98to254bp.Alleliccompositionof23invitroraisedplantsandthemotherplantat5SSRlocididnotshowanypolymorphism.Theresultsofthetwomarkersystemsinthepresentstudyrevealedthegeneticuniformityamongtheinvitroraisedplantsdem
