2、viewpointofcomplexsystem,appliesnon-equilibriumstatisticalmechanicstoanalyzethedevelopmentofShanghaiasaninternationalfinacialcentre.AndthentheevolutionarypatternsofShanghaiasaninternationalfinacialcentrearesimulatedbySOM.Thesimulationresultsshowthattheachievementoffinancial

4、uctionInMarch2009,theStateCouncilofthePeople’sRepublicofChinaannouncedanambitiousplanofmakingShanghaibecomeamajorinternationalfinancialcentreby2020,onparwithHongKong,Singapore,NewYorkandLondon.Thisplanattractsmoreattentionofscholarsbothathomeandabroad.Kindleberger(1974)stat
5、edthat‘bankingandfinacialcentresperformedamediumofexchangefunctionandaninter-spatialstoreofvaluefunction.[1]Jao(1997)classifiedfinancialcentreintonationalordomesticcentre,regionalcentre,andglobalcentrefromageographicalperspective;functionalcentreandbookingcentrefromteleolog
6、icalperspective;traditionalcentre,financialentrepotandoffshorebankingcentrefromhistoricalperspective.[2]Goldberg,HelsleyandLevi(1988)suggestedthatthemajorfactorsinfluencingfinancialcentredevelopmentarethelevelofoveralleconomicdevelopment,internationaltrade,financialintermed
7、iation,andthestringencyoffinancialregulations.[3]Reed(1981)arguedthatafinancialcentremustfirstbeanationalfinancialcentrebeforeitbecameaninternationalfinancialcentre.[4]Poon(2003)studiedthehierarchyoffinancialcentrethroughclusteranalysis.[5]However,fewresearchesfocusedonthed
