3、selectingothercomponentswithwhichtocooperate.However,thecandidatecomponentsmaybeunreliableordishonest,andaretypicallylocallycontrolled.Suchdecentralisedsystemscanbeviewedasmulti-agentsystems,comprisingautonomousagentsthatmustcooperateforthesystemtobeeffective.Peer-to-peer(P

4、2P)systemsareasubclassofdecentraliseddistributedsystems,inwhichnotonlyistherenooverarchingcontrol,butneitheristhereanyhierarchyofcontrol,power,orresponsiblyamongthesystemcomponents.Selectingappropriatepeerstocooperatewithisachallengingproblem,sincethecandidatepeersareauton
