反渗透系统因其先进的技术及经济特性，已形成国内各行业庞大的用户群，据不完全统计，目前国内反渗透水处理用户已超过数千家。

8、渗透膜元件作为深层的过滤手段，其表面不可避免的会残留有胶体、微生物、杂质颗粒及难溶盐类在其表面的析出，因此，在多种领域使用的反渗透装置，一旦投入使用，最终都需要清洗，只是清洗周期的长短不同而已。然而，在线清洗作为一种反渗透系统清洗保养、冲击性杀菌以及定期保护的手段，在面临反渗透膜元件重度污染时就显得无能为力，这个时候就需要对反渗透膜元件进行离线清洗。
