4、化内涵的原因进行了归纳，阐述了作为语言中的重要组成成分的汉英基本颜色词汇，黄和“yellow”、蓝和“blue”、绿和“green”、黑和“black”、白和“white”以及红和“red”。这些颜色词汇所隐含的不同文化内涵及其不同应用，反映出社会文化的不同。再者又对颜色词汇在中英翻译时应注意的事项及技巧进行简单介绍。通过对汉英颜色词汇所隐含文化差异的对比及解析，旨在避免在跨文化交际时对不同语言中相同颜色词文化内涵的理解而引起误读。关键词：汉英基本颜色词；文化内涵；对比研究；翻译技巧IVABSTRACTOwingtothedifferent
