4、e,reliability1.INTRODUCTIONInformationsystemsareusedinmanypracticalapplicationsandsometimesitisveryusefulfordecisionmaking.Theacceptednotionfortheinformationsystemisthatitshouldmodeltheflowofinformationinagivenorganizationalstructure.Inreliabilityengineering,researchersarefacedwithseverald

5、ifficulttasksinaccessingandanalyzingdata.Mostdataareaccumulatedinthesystemdevelopmentsiteapartfromthereliabilityanalyst'ssite.Incaseofcomponentdata,theapplication-specificdata(forexample,appliedstresslevels,numberoffunctionalpins,etc.)whichisdesignedbysystemdevelopersareimportantwhencomput

6、ingfailurerateofeachcomponent.Itisimportanttoobtainsuchdataatarightmomentforconcurrentengineering.Theclient/serverapproachisperceivedasaneffectivewaytointegratecomputingresourcesinanorganization.Userscansharedata,applications,andprocessingpowerintheclient/serverenvironmentmucheasierthanint
