2、herinjury.ToolsRequired:-Vehiclejackandjackstandsoraccesstoavehiclelift-5mmAllenwrenchorAllensocketwithextension-3mmAllenwrench-1/8InchAllenWrench-RazorbladeorXactoknifetocutvacuumline-Bluecoloredmediumstrengthsemi-permanentLoc-TitethreadlockerBeginbysafelylifti

3、ngthevehicleandthenlocatingtheturboandtheOEMelectronicallycontrolledbypassvalve/solenoid,whichwillbeboltedtothecompressorcoveroftheturbo.-OntheMK5VWGTIandJettaGLI,theB6Passat,andthe8PAudiA3,theOEMvalvewillbeboltedtotheturbolocatedonthelowerpassengersideoftherear

4、ofthemotor.-OntheGolfED30andR,LeonCupra,SciroccoRandAudiS3thevalveislocatedatthetopoftheenginebayatthefrontdirectlybehindtheradiator-OntheB7AudiA4,theOEMvalvewillbeboltedtotheturbolocatedonthepassengersideofthemotortowardsthefrontundersideofthecarOncelocated,dis

5、connecttheelectricalconnector/plugforthevalveandyoucannowuseyour5mmAllenwrenchorsockettoremovethethree5mmAllenboltswhichsecurethevalvetotheturbo.YoumustbesuretosavetheOEMvalveboltsastheywillbereusedlater.WiththeOEMvalveremovedfromtheturbo,youcannowtemporarilyins

6、talltheForgereplacementvalvereusingtheOEMboltswiththemonlyhand-tightened.Thisinitialinstallationisonlytemporarysoastofindanappropriatemountinglocationforthesolenoidandtofindtheappropriatelengthsforthevacuumlinesyouwilluseonyourcar.First,attachthesolenoidtoyourch

7、oiceofthesuppliedbracketsusingthetwosupplied5mmAllenbolts.Thesolenoidcanbemountedanywhereintheenginebaywithinreachofthesolenoidwiring.Forthepurposeofgeneratingtheseinstructions,wewillmountthesolenoidbracketusingoneoftheboltholesforthenewForgevalveasshownbelow.Yo

8、udonothavetoinstallthesolenoidbracketinthismanneronyourapplicationifyouwouldpreferadifferentlocation.WiththenewForgevalvelooselymountedtotheturbo,andalocationselected
