3、limagecompressionstandard.JPEG2000imagecodingsystemdescribestherealizationoftheprocess,ofwhichthebasicalgorithmusedisdescribedandkeytechnologies,introducedthenewstandardfeaturesandapplications,anditsperformanceisanalyzed.Withtherapidgrowthofmultimediaapplicationsandnetworkscontinuestodevelop
4、,thetraditionalJPEGcompressiontechnologyhasbeenunabletomeetthepeople'sdigitalmultimediaimagedatarequirements,amorepowerfulandefficientsuperiorstillimagecompressionstandardhasbeenreferredtothedevelopmentagenda,thisisaJPEG2000.1.IntroductionJPEG(JointPhotographicExpertsGroup)istheInternationa
5、lOrganizationforStandardization(ISO)developedundertheleadershipofthecommitteestillimagecompressionstandard,thefirstsetofinternationalstillimagecompressionstandardISO10918-1(JPEG)isthatestablishedbytheCommittee.AstheexcellentqualityJPEG,sothatwithinafewyearshewasagreatsuccess,iswidelyusedinth
6、efieldofInternetanddigitalcamerasonthesite80%haveadoptedtheJPEGimagecompressionstandard.However,thecurrentJPEGstillimagecompressionstandard,withmid-rangeandhigh-bit-rateontheratedistortioncharacteristicsofagood,butinthecontextoflowbitrate,therewillbeobviousblockingeffects,itsqualityhasbecome
7、unacceptable.JPEGcannotbeprovidedinasinglestreamlossyandlosslesscompression,andcannotsupportmorethan64×64Koftheimagecompression.Atthesametime,despitethecurrentJPEGstandardhasarequirementtorestarttheinterval,butwhenbiterrorsencounteredwhentheimagequ
