4、rds.ThehistorianSimaQian(145-90BC),whowrotetheShijiorRecordsoftheGrandHistorian,andtheso-calledBambooAnnalsdatethefoundingoftheXiaDynastyto4,200yearsago.Accordingtomythology,thedynastyendedaround1600BCasaconsequenceoftheBattleofMingtiao.YutheGreatYutheGreat(大禹Dà-Yǔ),wastheleg
5、endaryfounderoftheXiaDynastythatbeganin2205BCE.Heisbestrememberedforteachingthepeopletechniquestotameriversandlakesduringanepicflood.TheXiaerawouldalsogodownasthefirstdynastyinwhatwouldlaterbecomeChinawithhissonQifollowingafterhisreign.YuisoneofthefewChineserulerposthumouslyh
