6、字书法当中，也用于中国画中。毛笔是由中国人发明的，和砚、墨以及宣纸（即笔墨纸砚）这四种书法工具统称文房四宝。毛笔在中国有很长的历史。一支毛笔由两部分组成，笔尖和笔杆。笔尖通常是由羊毛、狼毛、鼠毛或兔毛制成。笔杆通常是由竹子、木头、漆器和瓷器做成，当然，有些笔杆的制作材料也很珍贵，如珍珠母镶嵌、象牙和玉器。湖州毛笔分为四类，第一种是用山羊毛制成，用起来非常灵活；第二种是由褐色兔毛制成；第三种是由质地比较僵硬的黄鼠狼毛；而第四种是混合山羊和黄鼠狼的毛制成，既不太灵活也不太硬.2.宣笔宣笔和大家熟知的宣纸都出产于安徽省泾县。在古代，泾县属宣州管辖，宣笔和宣纸也因此而地名。，宣笔，用棕色的兔子头
