3、transmissionsofsensornodes,andhenceminimizetheoverallpowerconsumptionandtheprobabilityofcollisioninthenetwork.Lotsoffactorsaffecttheperformanceofdatafusion,suchasthetypeofthesourcesofinterest,thedensityofthesensors,theplace-mentofaggregationpoints,theaggregationfunction,andthecommun
4、icationnetworktopology.Inthispaper,theauthorsdividealltheapproachesinto2aspects:self-organizationandin-networkprocessing.Theaimofthispaperistoprovideabetterunderstandingofthecurrentresearchis-suesinthefieldofdatafusion.Inthosetwoaspects,thispaperintroducesseveralimportantis-sues,inc
